This fantastic amber colored opal is mined on private claims in south central Oregon. This cab is a richly colored, yet completely translucent opal. It has some interesting fern-like inclusions in the lower left, and in the middle of the stone, it has some areas of deep read opal suspended in it. It has a sparkly polish front and back, and a nicely rounded low dome. I think you will enjoy working this opal into your jewelry creations.
