Steve Schultz is a third generation stone cutter, located in Western Idaho.
My interest in the lapidary arts started when I was a boy, helping my father in his silversmith and lapidary shops, and on numerous prospecting and mining trips into Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho.
Today, I enjoy cutting stones that offer a unique combination of color and pattern, and creating gemstone designs that complement the natural patterns in the stone. Some of the cabochons offered on these pages are from our own claims, and many are cut from other great materials from around the world.
